Re: Random Cell Phone Pics...
Dang. I'm frustrated and about to give up on this forum... I'm frustrated about the process I have to go through to post pictures. I wrote a couple paragraphs alluding to the advantage of a scandy grind on a back country knife and wondered maybe if spyderco would ever make a knife with a scandy grin...

hero-image.fill.size_1200x1200.v1611609838_copy_600x600_copy_450x450_1.jpg Great, that last post helped... I have those brackets come up previously, but didn't know to place the picture in between them. I took those straight off my phone... not sure they are larger. I'll try it off of that image si...

Re: Posting Pictures
Ya, I guess you are talking in some terms I don't understand. I don't have a picture button, I just see an attachments button. I went to that side and uploaded a picture but couldn't get it to load on my post. It just came up as a bunch of words and letters, No picture. I'd like to upload pictures f...

LIKE!
I think it furthers communication, not hinders it.
A 'Like' can show that one has read something, read and agrees, or thinks that one post or pic is outstanding.
For instance, it could give member feedback on photo contests, ideas and comments.
I 'like' em.

Re: Random Cell Phone Pics...
My first Spyderbite... Technically, it's not really a Spyderbite unless the blood is dripping onto the ground. Your landscape shot is nice. The light and composition are spot on. The picture of the kid cooking makes me happy. Too many youngsters (and families) rely on fast food. Good on ya, pops. H...

Re: Random Cell Phone Pics...
At this steak house job I normally used my higher end knives, but this was from mothers day weekend. We served between 550-600 people in 4 hours. So I grabbed some cheap beaters because I knew we'd be going balls to the wall and things would get dinged up. These three cost under $50 combined, thoug...

Re: Random Cell Phone Pics...
Usually when I get out here, it's with my mora knife and whatever pocket knife i'm carrying. Now, it will be my mora knife and my lightest and least likely to need sharpening... or or stained from cutting fruit or protein... pocketknife. Which will be my Magnacut Native 5 Salt Lightweight. Hiking fo...

Random Cell Phone Pics...
Esp if Spyderco related or wherever you are/were with your Spyderco... My first Spyderbite... I discovered that my Native 5 Magnacut blade WOULD drop all the way shut... The lock is just so far down the back that my index finger is not strong enough to press it down far enough for it to do so. I had...

Re: Making micarta more grippy
I'm gonna tag on to this thread since it hasn't been bumped in a while and my question is on nearly the same topic... If micarta is oiled, does the oil seep into the fabric or is the fabric already permanently saturated by the resin that it's in? I'm wondering if a natural long term patina put on m...

Climb 90’ in a tree then top it out in 100 degree heat with humidity out the a$$ then be fully exposed to the sun and all its glory for a couple more hours while carefully roping down 12’ logs because the job is inaccessible for a crane and let me know how that m4 is faring in your waistband bro 😬 ...

Esee Sencillo in Magnacut. Looking forward to its first match up with my next (3rd) North Georgia bear... At 65 yo, I think it will be the last skinner I ever need.
