Re: Any news on the Kapara slipjoint?
[ That said: I am really glad for all who would/will enjoy it as a slipjoint and/or can´t carry a locking folder legally! :smlling-eyes One question though: If a slipjoint Kapara is held behind the choil and folded accidentally: Would the fingers still be protected by the choil hitting first, or wo...

I believe what @TazKristi means is that it would be easy for bots to register and keep quiet for x years to circumvent purely time based verification processes.

Apparently a slip joint version is in the works. I wouldn't mind if this one got the salt treatment.

Re: The Astute
If it ever got a CQI I'd love to see it with a blade at 2.98" and a black wire clip. I think that would increase sales. One of the qualities of the Astute is the insane edge to handle ratio. I think it would be a shame to change that for legal reasons (where I live I can't carry ANY locking Sp...

Re: Sal, a handle forward Lil Native?
The Lil Native is a three finger knife, three and a half if one squeezes in. The finger guard before the choil is in the way. If it were moved forward to the end of the scales, and the cutting edge lengthened, we'd have close to the same grip length and more cutting edge. This is actually such an o...

Re: Dark Mode?
Since the new update has been successfully completed (thanks Spyderco team!), I'd like to bump up this idea. I completely understand if the admin team wants to minimize the number of different themes to support, but I think offering both a light and a dark theme would be desirable. There have been s...

Re: The Astute
The Astute was mentioned a couple of times on here as an exceptional design already. So I bought one. And what can I say, it is my favorite Spyderco by far. The handle ergonomics are absolutely spot on. The palm swell offers the support for my pinky finger that I miss e.g. on my Lil Native. The thum...

Re: Spyderco 50th Anniversary Knife?
I love the idea of an engraving on all production models. Or all golden models, in case it is not feasible to have all the makers do this. Much more subtle than some fancy collector's piece and many more customers could participate in the celebration. Collectors still could seek out their favorite c...

Re: Anyone else hoping for a 15V Wharncliffe Lil Native?
I find the relative lack of interest in the Lil Native Wharnie remarkable. I like mine a lot but do not feel the need for upgraded steel personally. I wouldn't say no though!!
