That turned out nice and the hot glue for masking is a clever idea. Thanks for your comment! I wish I could take credit for the glue but I found it on someone else's post. They dribbled it on Jackson Pollock Style for a two-tone look. The hot glue was pretty easy to remove except on one of the X's....

So I dyed the scales of the Cormorant with Rit Dyemore Yellow, then I used hot glue to mask the X's. Then I re-dyed the scales green to tribute the Jamaican Flag

Very happy with the results, especially because this is my first attempted Dye job.
