Re: Manix II spring tension

Thanks for your reply. Good to hear you still like the springs. Your original post was so helpful. The link that you included on the ball that your ordered went to a general page instead of a specific part. Do you remember what the diameter of the ball is? Hello, I am pleased with the tension in th...

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage

So you find the titanium ball cage to feel a little sticky and not as smooth as the stock one? I'm kind of disappointed with the feel even though I like the look. I think it has to do with the Titanium rubbing on the steel. https://youtu.be/fg-i4Iv6H-U https://i.imgur.com/D6K1lKh.jpg https://i.imgur...

Titanium is a horrible cage material, it's galling. You need lots of good lubrication.
Is there a lubricant you would recommend to prevent galling? I don't like the look of the black plastic ball cage and want to keep my titanium ball cage. But, it's just not as smooth. Thanks!

Re: Manix II spring tension

Hello, Are you satisfied with the tension on these springs? I installed some lighter springs that I bought on eBay, but they are a little too light (makes it hard to flick). I noticed that this manufacturer you linked to has a few different springs with various tension. Is your just right for flicki...

Re: Jade/M4 Yojimbo

Thanks. Lots of good info in there. My setup is pretty basic but I did leave out some things I’m doing during the process. Acetone is used to clean the blade etc, this removes oils and helps with an even etch. I use gloves the whole time. I use nail polish to protect the pivot etc, then clear aceto...
