Re: A photo of your workshop?

Just found this post when searching for "required power tools for making handles / scales." I finally have open shop space at our new house. Looking to get the right tools for the job. Any recommendations? Seems like... Band saw (needed? I already have a sliding miter saw and jig saw that ...

Re: Anyone home stabilize their scales?

New to knife handles, but caught the bug with the first mule handle thread on the forum. I've read about stabilized wood online, but not used it in any home projects. One of the posts above said " IF you're going to use it..." So is using stabilized wood mandatory vs. just using a high har...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

New to sharpening, thanks everyone for the great information on this forum. After too many hours researching, I decided I want to freehand sharpen bc (1) cool skill and (2) not beholden to parts discontinuing for guided systems. I have Spyderco PM steel in K390, M390, Max, so planning to get Naniwa ...

Re: CPM REX 76, CPM REX T15, AND M398 and MT2!

I've not been quick enough to get a Mule yet. Any of these new ones would be great. I see Kristi posts the release date for Mules a few days in advance for a couple of the past knives. Will they do that for these MT33, MT34, MT38? Is that the best way / source to find out the release date? Just take...

Re: Making a Mule Handle (step-by-step)

Wow... late to the Mule Team game, but making a handle sounds fun.
Huge thanks to this thread and the original poster for the detail and photographs.

Stormtrooper version. The Empire strikes back.
I’ve wanted spydie rex45 since I missed the orange run, but white is really unappealing until I read this line. Haha, decisions, decisions. Wish it was easier to switch frn handles.

Re: G10 Endela proposal

I second this idea, Endela seems like a good model for more mid-premium upgrades. G-10 plus sprint steel - rex45 or v4 or v10- but then again I like patina. I’d pay more for that knife, but not as much as Benchmade gold class. A knife is still a knife to be used.

Re: Reveal 9 Live!

For the Mules, Reveal 9 lists both of these: MT32P - SRS13 steel w/ SUS405 cladding, already listed on site as available soon to order. MT35P - MagnaCut steel, not listed on site at all, but I think a sprint of this already released last Nov ‘21. Based on it showing in the ‘22 release #9, do fans th...
