The Schempo Kris is my fave.
I’ll agree that the Kris does look really cool!

Re: Obscure But Yet Extremely Cool Past Models

I really like the looks of the bolstered Schempp Persian. Not sure how sales went or how old it even is, but it just looks so good. And it looks like it would be a really good edc knife.

Re: Value folders

I would love to see other color options in the value line. The Tenacious has some good options, but would love to see the others with some good choices. An OD Green FRN resilience would be awesome.

Re: Value folders

I am constantly surprised at the quality of the “value line”. I need to add the Polestar to my collection, as well as the Resilience. I’ve also been thinking about the Ambitious as an alternative to the Lil Native that I can never bring myself to buy. I feel like with the ever rising prices, the val...

Re: Para 3 Blade wiggle when closed - how to resolve?

I use a carbide ball nose end mill to VERY slightly "flare" the detent hole. If it's really bad, I use it in a Dremel on the lowest speed, but 9 times out of 10 I can do it by hand. If that doesn't fix it, then I do what you said. If there is slop wouldn’t it be from the hole already bein...

Re: Rockscale Designs Manix

Man, the G10 Manix 2 was not on my radar until I saw these scales. It is back on! It should be regardless of these scales! Totally different feel that than fCRAP material of the LW's...such a more substantial feeling, knowing you're carrying a knife and not some plastic frame with blade. These are ...

Oh, I forgot to thank Ranger_Ike for the original post bringing these to my attention.
Glad to help, and glad you like them. I agree, they a a huge improvement over the stock scales/jimping. The best is that it keeps the same amazing grip that makes the manix a pleasure to use.

Re: Let's see your very first Spyderco (or at least the one you've had the longest)

Haven’t been in the Spyderco game as long as most of you all. My first was the forest green s45vn sprint run para 3 with diamond pattern g10. I have since swapped the blade out to SPY27. I also have sanded the corners a bit, and sanded the texture some. From the factory it was quite the pocket eater...

It looks so good. The GB2 demands Micarta.
Thank you! I couldn’t agree more. It completes the knife.

Oh wow. Just looked up the clip side pictures. That is some kind of ugly. I’d probably still give it a try. The specs seem great. But that clip would have to go.

Re: Why is the Millie so overlooked ....

The clip nestles into a vacant spot at the base of the fingers and disappears in use. It is a very well thought-out design. This is interesting. My reasoning for not even trying it was that I tried the PM2 in tip down and found the clip to be uncomfortable in use. I assumed the military would be ju...

Re: Crazy Deals that are Non Spyderco

Not really a crazy deal, but DLT has some Magnacut Guardian 3's available. Been waiting for the perfect combo in this. OD green micarta and magnacut was too good to pass up. Edit: they have them at KSF also. Got mine there to avoid taxes. I have yet to find a handier fixed blade (I carry it with th...

Just realized how much more KSF is charging. $199 there. It’s $169 at GPknives:
