Re: Help: does anyone know if website Sanford Custom knives is a scam?

Regarding online fraud, I've heard a suggestion to report the crime to the FBI:
https://www.ic3.gov/

Perhaps the threat of being reported to the FBI will make the scammer refund. Hope it helps!

Re: MT40P – HIC Mule Team Dropping Soon!

The listing says a dedicated sheath is available, but I don't see one for sale separately. Is it included with the blade?

Re: If laws and public perception were no issue, would you carry a different knife?

I'd switch to carrying folders in a belt pouch and fixed blades on the belt. I often carry a Military or Caribbean now, so I don't need more blade, it's more of a comfort thing. I'd get more into fixed blades too which would devastate my wallet.

Re: 1st Mule: M398 hunting model

Re: epoxy, dry, then install screws - from the few videos I've seen of makers putting handles on (not Mule Team blades), they screwed on the pins right at the beginning, before drying. Do I have it wrong or is this something different about Mule Teams? If I let it dry w/o the pins, could the scales ...

Is ignoring nuclear a CERT or FEMA policy? You might get somewhere by going over the local admin, but the locals will probably know it's you.

Re: Winter is here. Did you change up what you're carrying?

I think the off topic forum just gets less traffic than general. I don't carry for self defense but I look forward to carrying small fixed blades once we get to jacket weather here.

Re: Decision time what to purchase, don’t say by both

I have the Manix 2 (both G-10 and lightweight) and tried the Manix XL before. The M2 has enough handle for my hand, so I prefer the LW. The XL is too heavy for my EDC. If I wanted a longer blade I'd grab the Military. If you don't have a physical store nearby, the solution might be to find a vendor ...

Large Sebenza +1

Also really like the Demko AD20.5. Fits my hand well. I bent my clip a little so the ripple textured G-10 doesn't shred what's left of my pockets.

Re: Siren in Magnacut?

I like the Siren a lot, really appreciate the G-10 construction with perfectly fitted & finished back spacer & lock bar, the best I've ever seen on a lockback. A Boye dent would help me, same reason as above. An XL would be interesting too, especially if the lock bar moves away from the meat...

That's a beautiful knife. Though I'm pretty sure you could just punch for self defense.

Re: Poll: Which Golden Model Do You Want to See in 15V Next?

I'd like to vote for the BBB collaboration knife :D

I know that'll come out when it comes out. Not to derail the thread, I voted for Military 2. Millie 1 in 15V would get my money too.
