Re: feathersticking
Only hollow ground I have is my ticn salt. Gonna give that a try. And I guess my manbug too?? Give it a try if you like. Life is about learning, and experiencing right? There are certainly some variables for consideration. It may come down to what, or how, you call/define a "feather stick"...

Re: feathersticking
Super interesting answers here. I'm going to try out some serrated options (I have an endela and salt 2 I can give it a whirl on). I would think it'd be slower because the teeth would add pressure in non-downward angles, but maybe not.

catch and release and catch
Which knives have folks here gotten, gotten rid of (sell or gift), then regretted and bought again?

feathersticking
Ok so I'm wondering if folks do any feathersticking with their spydercos. I did a bunch last summer. Both the stretch 2 and the endela were great at this. I'm curious how small I can go. I'm probably gonna go grab a log this week and see how the dragonfly and delica fare. I'm curious how small folks...

Re: Dragonfly warnie for box cutter
I have the wharnie dfly in k390. Is currently hanging on a hook in the garage and I broke down a few boxes maybe 45 minutes ago with it. For this task, I find the wharncliffe superior to the leaf blade, and I find the smaller blade preferable to larger ones. I went through a few options: k390 delica...

Re: Dragonfly warnie for box cutter
I have been using the same wharnie Delica VG 10 since they first came out every day at work cutting tons of boxes. Nothing beats it, and VG 10 is awesome. Really, I still love this knife, and don’t want any other for work. It can’t be beat. I’m thinking do doing a long term use vid for it, but I’m ...

What is this steel known for? Having trouble finding reviews online. Larrin talks about blue super but I don’t know if that’s the same as super blue.

glove compartment knife?
What do folks keep in their glove compartment? Serrated for seatbelts? Nothing? A small bug for random packages?
I have a vg10 dragonfly myself but I’ve never used it (since I always have something on me) but it makes me feel better to have it.

in no particular order: * LC200N - easy to sharpen, edge lasts long enough. can carry anywhere. * SPY27 - super easy to sharpen. edge lasts long enough. can carry almost anywhere. * K390 - edge lasts forever. my cardboard shredder. * Magnacut - Really good balance of everything * ??? Maybe XHP becau...

We have dragonflies all over the place. One vg10 in the glove box, a k390 wharncliffe in the garage for cardboard, an s30v by the front door for packages, another s30v in my wife’s art studio for random stuff, a vg10 in the bathroom for opening up packaging, and the I carry a serrated salt, and I ha...

Re: police serrated
Serrated Stretch 2 XL arrived today. First spyderco I've gotten that left me speechless. It's 100% what I was looking for for this application and the ergonomics are perfect for me. I don't remember the normal Stretch 2 having the same ergos. But now I'm regretting selling my k390 stretch 2.
