Get a Stretch XL Salt or Pacific Salt in H1/H2 and you'll be doing great. LC200N will also work just fine. Pick plain edge or serrated based on your sharpening experience or preference. I have a g10 native 5 with liners, s110v blade AND it’s been reground to .010” BTE so it is an absolute lazer beam. It’s my recycling knife. I don’t carry it, it just sits out around the house ready for any cardboard and plastic and anything else I grab it for. Pics or it didn’t happen? That’s a 15...

It's not the toughest steel around but it can work quite well. I run my edges quite thin and don't have many problems, but I am a bit careful with S110V.

Finally got mine last night. With all the talk about sharpness in this thread I checked mine and indeed it wasn't that sharp. Could kind of slice but more tear regular printer paper. Checking the edge with my pocket microscope, to my surprise it had a burr. That explains the lack of sharpness, but ...

Mine arrived today. Edge just draw cuts paper but that's about it. I suppose I will end up trying to put it to stones sometime to see if it can be improved. The edge is even and without any other obvious flaw though. Right now I'm kind of with Bolster's thoughts of "strange and interesting"...

The Native 5 LW and Native 5 G10 handles are not interchangeable.

I'm a steel nerd and 15V is my favorite (non stainless steel, anyway). So, it was this one once again.

15V PM2 again. Got out for a walk this afternoon. Full cloud cover meant it looked rather dreary, but temps were close to 40F so not too bad to be outside.

Nice work getting a ceramic knife sharp. Edge does look to have some roughness or microchips, but I'm assuming it's very difficult to avoid that on a ceramic blade, at least with the equipment and knowledge we have now for home sharpening.

It was a "warm" day here, still about 45F at sunset, so I'm celebrating by having a fire.
