Re: I love the compression lock... and so does my non-knife-person friend.
The compression lock is very intuitive. I have handed my pm2 and pm3 to friends who have never held the knife before and they instantly figured it out.

Re: CPM 20CV Thread
I have yet to have to sharpen my 20cv manix 2 but out of the box it cut easier and held an edge longer than my s90v pm2. It could be poor cutting angles on my part but it has been a pleasure to use on cardboard, gardening and cutting down a few apply tree branches. I would love to pick up a para 3 i...

Re: Compression lock Manix
Everyone here brought up great points regarding the cbbl. I have not had either knives open on me in my pocket. I am ambidextrous and am able to close and open both knives with either hand. Ease of open/close for me are usually dependent on the clip and it’s location. My manix is usually the first k...

Re: Compression lock Manix
What’s wrong with the PM2 blade ?! Why would you say that the Manix blade shape is more useful ? Manix has great ergos but it forces your hand into just a few grips. Gorilla grip is more natural and confy, at least for me, when I handle the PM2. There is nothing wrong with the shape of the pm2. I f...

Re: Para 3 Salt, is it going to happen?
I would buy an LC200N para 3 in any color. It would be cool in to see it in a mystic color (that teal translucent color that they used on the manix 2 LW.) A para 3 Salt would would be like Spyderco printing money for themselves. I would love to see it happen.

Compression lock Manix
I was holding my manix 2 LW and my pm 2 and I found myself stumped as to which knife I wanted to carry today. Should I take the manix; with its very useful leaf shaped blade, amazing ergonomics and perfect size or the slim and sexy Pm2 with its fidget friendly compression lock, easy to carry profile...

Re: How does your Significant Other coexist with your knife collecting syndrome?
She is supportive. She herself is not a knife enthusiast but she recognizes and appreciates the quality of my Spyderco knives. This year she got me a sprint run pm2 for my birthday so I think I am in good shape. I think that it helps that it was her brother who introduced me to spyderco. He used to ...

Re: Colors - Talkin' Story - Marketing
1. High visibility for outdoor applications. Salt series is a perfect example of this, but anything outdoors, camping, hunting, beach, etc... Its nice to be able to see your knife if you drop it or just set it down. This right here is exactly why I like color on my knives. I have dropped my DLC coa...

Re: Lanyard/Fob Preferences
It depends on the knife. I actually like a lanyard on my PM2. The PM2 lanyard hole placement is low enough and the handle is long enough that it does not interfere with the ergonomics while on knives like my Manix 2 , a lanyard interferes with the perfect ergonomics of the handle. Smaller knives lik...
