Re: Why is the PM2 more popular when the Manix 2 is objectively better?

As others have said, the Manix 2 is a pocket hog, I think it takes up the most pocket real estate of any knife I have in that blade range... Kind of annoying. Also, I prefer the locking dingus in my Axis locks and axis knockoffs to be fully steel a la Benchmade and Hogue. The PM2 on the other hand, ...

Re: Doug Ritter Surprise Knife Drop. Anyone know what it is?

Bummer, that would have been a good one to catch. It's your lucky day. They're still available at 10:45 PDT. And when they sell out, you can still order from another batch that's due to arrive the end of next month. It's a pretty little knife, but there's no humpback or Spydiehole. Interesting, I w...

Re: Native 5 salt is Magnacut?

Just ordered the plain edge from eBay, it's a good dealer with 100% rating. They have about a dozen available. Seller is robcoknivesllc . Evidently no longer available. But it is good to see the product getting distributed after a long wait. I'm assuming it will be more available than "a dozen...

Fingers are all crossed in hopes for a SE MagnaCut Salt version. I'm all over it.
PE for me, but otherwise yeah, that's a configuration that desperately needs to be made.

Re: Native 5 salt is Magnacut?

Has anyone actually gotten a MC PE Native from Country Knives? It seems pretty unlikely that they would have gotten a shipment, and two weeks later no other retailers would have received anything. I wonder if their page is just for a preorder, and these things still haven't shipped anywhere?

Re: CPM 15V PM2

REC did a great job with this one. I did not need one as I have a PM2 and the Manix 15v, but I could have gotten one easy. I had the CC# and address in there from previous purchases, so it made it easy. Now if they do a REC Native 5 avocado, that i may have to jump on. How do you know you would hav...

Re: CPM 15V PM2

I think I'm done trying for these after REC, did manage to snag one of the new Launch 15s from SMKW while nosing around for 15v though, pretty pleased with that.

Yep OOS, added to cart right when it became available, and still didn't make it. Feel kind of silly as an adult playing this game.

Re: models you'd like to see in the salt series

I think I could go for salted versions of the Kapara, Stretch and Native Chief..... Maybe throw in the Para 2. All in Magnacut.

I know the Manix is coming out in salted/MC form someday. It's not my favorite design, but I'll probably pick one up as a larger MC Salt option.

Not looking good for getting one of these, they seem to be going out of stock so fast it's like each retailer only has a few.

Re: Forum Knife Poll 2024 is now Live

Why aren't there any more mainstream survey options, or even anything locking? You could step up, right? Step up and what? Add some better options to the survey? Sure is it open for mods? I'll submit that pretty much any of the midsize locking offerings in something like Magna, 15V or SPY27, etc. a...

Still riveted, I thought I had read that Manix LWs were moving to screw construction. Still the plan, just not yet, or was that just a rumor?

Re: Steel genie is about to turn all your knives into one steel…what are you picking.

MagnaCut 🤷🏼‍♂️ Not because it's the hot new flavor of the month, it's because it's the best average of qualities and least amount of compromise. Honestly there are quite a few steels I could live with as a forever steel, there are almost no wrong answers here. I could print out one of those fancy s...

Re: New Sprint Drop Coming Soon!

I've gotta ask, what is the appeal of this steel? It has basically no corrosion resistance, low toughness and relatively low edge retention, even at high hardness..... Seems like a downgrade from the production dragonfly in pretty much every way except the color?

If the pair of these I ordered work out like I hope they do, there will be more P3 LWs in my future, definitely including a MagnaCut.

Re: Spyderchef in CPM magnacut

I'd prefer to see a Spydiechef in CTS-XHP to align it with the other Slysz collaborations. I'm not hyped about MagnaCut at all given how difficult it seems to be for a manufacturer to work with as far as folders are concerned. Judging from the flood of new designs in MC being intro'd by every major...
