Like to know for M390 purchase decision with or w/o DLC would be good to know as m390 at 60 HRC is meh but at 62 it starts to kick some ***.
And since this is 2024 and Spyderco is bringing coatings in house be nice to know a little science.

I was also curious as to why this was priced high. In the past I’ve ordered two to get the ‘free’ shipping. This one costs real money, and after 15v’s 10 just seems so flaccid (soft).

The fewer strokes = fewer chances to mess up is a real thing. And maybe that hard steels tend to make people say that they are "harder to sharpen" just because they have to do more strokes and mess up their sharpening because ofthe inconsistency of their technique. It is not a blow, I do ...

Am I the only one confused by the question? You seem to indicate that all the SE are great and ask what you should expect. If you had a “bad” one I’d get the question, but even then I don’t know what would be bad, or good for that matter.

Is the drop over? No posts or drops that I saw on Thursday. Did DLT and bladehq drop already? Don’t recall seeing them go.

Looks like weekend drops or at least sales do occur. Hard to keep a watch 24/7.

The speed at which these drops sell makes me wonder if a buying app or bot is doing much of the buying. Is anyone aware of such a thing? I can understand an announced drop selling fast but random timed drops on weekends no less seems stretched. Anyone in the Know?
