I'd recommend anyone get themselves either a Salt 2 or Pacific Salt (whichever fits their hand better) and then don't be frightened to beat the **** out of it. They are tough as old boots and definitely working knives rather than pretty ones

A PE Salt 2 in MagnaCut would make a fantastic general purpose folder.

I also think a Stretch XL in MC will be ideal for fishing off the beach or boat.
