Re: EDC steel advice
LC200N is what I'd go with. It's a great all-around steel and available on several models: Siren, SpydieChef, Salt 2, UKPK, Native 5, Caribbean, etc.

Re: FRN colors / a proposal
I'd love to see white FRN kits available for popular non-pinned models (Delica, Chaparral, Native, Stretch, DF2, etc.) -- would love to see it in the "grippy" FRN (ex. Delica) and "smooth" FRN (ex. UKPK) patterns. I'd pay a significant premium to upgrade a Chaparral LW to the smo...

Re: "As close to perfection as possible" folder from Spyderco?
The Chaparral "Stealth" Ti is the closest locking folder to perfection for me -- super thin and slicey blade, great choice of steel, forward choil, thumb hole, back-lock, incredible workable blade shape, in-hand ergonomics, wire clip, etc. For absolute perfection on the Chaparral, swap the...

I ordered one. Even though 8Cr isn't my first choice in steel, I'm looking forward to this one.

Native 5 in K390?
Any chance that we will see a Native in K390?
Seems like the perfect knife for a "worker" steel like K390. Would give an option to people looking for a 3" knife besides the Delica who are looking for harder use knife.
Wouldn't mind seeing the Manix in K390 either

Re: Titanium chaparral- can we expect more?
I think part of the reason why it didn't sell was due to the patterns on the scale; the milling added (significantly) to the cost. A flat titanium with no added milling (like the Sage) would probably sell quite well, particularly now that high-end EDC is popular. I think the simple flat scales would...

Jimi Hendrix & The Band of Gypsys - Machine Gun (Live at Fillmore East, New York) https://youtu.be/Lw2L_vGUMtE This is probably my favorite Hendrix performance -- edging out even classics like the Woodstock performances of "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" or the "Star Spangled Banne...

I'll never get tired of this album -- one of the greatest acoustic guitar albums of all time from three absolute masters:
Every second is perfection IMO.

Re: Native 5 salt is Magnacut?
If I had to guess, Native 5 in LC200N is green now to make it match the other knives in the Salt series (Pacific, Salt, Atlantic, etc.). Yellow will be used for Magnacut going forward.

I don't have a joke, but if you're looking for some wholesome comedy, I'd highly recommend Nate Bargatze: https://youtu.be/pGUhBzSgOxw
Been following him for about 5 years now and he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. Just got a new Netflix special recently too.

Re: Now that Sal has mentioned that possibility: Chaparral FRN variants? (blade shape, color, steel...) - your proposals
As a Chap-ficionado, more steel options would be nice, although CTS-XHP is still a wonderful steel and honestly a perfect choice for the knife to begin with. But what I'd really love to see is just a flat titanium scaled version, like the Sage 2. Simple, unassuming and undoubtedly gentleman. I love ...

Re: 519a, the magnacut of flashlights
The popular brands seem to mostly target the (misleading) lumen war with their emitters, rather than actual output/CRI/tint/UI like many enthusiasts. Maybe it's like how so many carry a $20 assisted Kershaw with crap steel and don't care because it gets the job done. Yep, 100%. I'll gladly trade th...
