Surprising reveal. Looking at the two Stretch XLs and wondering which one to get.

A 3.5" Native would be an outstanding "CQI". So would incorporating phosphor bronze washers in FRN models. "Simplication" is taken too far in this instance IMO. Smooth action shouldn't be an exotic luxury available only to those willing to spend $$$ extra on aftermarket scal...

I would buy a Stretch XL in Magnacut in addition to the Native Chief and the Native.
Then the only things I could possibly still want are the Chaparral Magnacut PE and SE.

Maybe you could lap your doublestuff on a diamond plate?

Did you try disassembling and cleaning yet?

If the Native 5 could be done as a CruCarta it would take 1st position. My fave N5s are the KC CruWear/Smooth Black G10 exclusives.

They are great. Plenty strong with perfect tolerances & smooth as butter action. Carbon fiber reinforced PLA. There is a chance they will be made for the Chief LW also.
