Re: Stretch XL discussion

Spyderco can tool steel the knife latter, after I get my VG10 version! I like K390 but it is sensitive to outdoor weather and stretch is based off the Hunter!

Re: Looks like SOG Knives is going the Cold Steel way

My last SOG purchases 4-5 years ago have completely turned me off the brand. I have seen them try for a higher quality product and fail to meet the price point. At this point I am okay with SOG going away, as I don't see how GSM could do worse. SOG is chasing a moving target my coping and following....

Re: Stretch XL discussion

I am in for a full SE model! I predict a dealer exclusive happening pretty quick with plain edge. I do like VG10 as it will keep the price in check, I am thinking $115 to $120 price range like a plain police 4.

Re: Not enough appreciation

Very interesting, I would love to see a small re-release. Currently been keeping an eye out for a restricted carry knife(no lock, under 2.5" bladed and non drop shut).

Re: Who has a Spyopera?

I have owned 3 Spyopera, they keep walking off in other people's pockets. If you want a nice upscale knife, they are really a fantastic value for the quality.

Been afraid to buy another as everyone that handles it doesn't seem to give them back.

Re: StNicksKnives Native Chief in Black CPM 4V and Red G10

St Nicks is always a fast sell out, hot or not this one will be gone in 15 minutes. I have never been able to score a st Nick's drop so most likely not waste my time.

Love the knife!

Re: Cutlery Shoppe PM2 Rex 45 Orange Blue exclusive

Wharncliffe PM2 got over shadowed by the Tanto PM2. Then the rex 45 copper Pm2 dropped around the same time. Kind of like now, way to many other PM2 in the last 30 days.

I have a the Rex45 Pm3 with orange and green scales that will have to hold me over on this one.

Re: Stretch 2 K390

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know! Actually this IS a problem, while (for me) rust on the blade would not be. But since you say "under the washers", that means right at the pivot hole of the blade, right? Could you see that go so far that the actual pivot hole would rust (away) in a w...

Re: Stretch 2 K390

I may ask again: Has anyone actually have had a tool steel Spydie rust to an extent, that it´s function was actually impaired? (Opening / closing, blade play cause the pivot area was actually altered/ruined by corrosion and the like?) NOT talking about looks, NOT talking about degredation of the cu...

Re: Kitchen knife recommendation

I have had great luck with my Shuns, I have Aus10 and love the stainless properties. I would buy Victorinox just as a hold over knife, I had one in my camping kit for years before it disappeared on me.

Re: Stretch 2 K390

For me Stretch 2 is an outdoors/work knife I ordered Vg10 to replace my toku-v just for the stainless qualities. I recently got a K390 police, and would say Rex45 patinas way faster. I don't think the patina really makes knives less rust proof, it does hide the stains! My k390 is like new still, che...

Re: Omicron..and on..and on…

Let see 2 years and people still don't know how to wear a mask. 2 years and places still haven't put up barriers or have holes people stick there head around. 2 years of you don't know what vaccine will do to you. Do masks help? Do barriers help? I think separating people helps keep the spread of fl...

Re: Anyone else concerned?

For me the year of Rex 45 sprints was the best, allowed me to get a steel in a knife I didn't have. Really liked the 1 steel through the whole line and 2 chances G10/Frn. Kind of covered all the knife junkies wants, got me into a few new designs. Add in 1 custom collaboration in with the unified spr...
