Re: let's settle this once and for all

Other. Variety is the spice of life, and a huge reason spyderco is such a success. I tend to gravitate toward pocket knives with clip removed for most carry. Dragonfly, chaparral, delica, native. I also like the police, military, and endura. And a lot of the salts. I prefer back locks to any other, ...

Re: Just a pocket knife

Nice knife. Simple, yet very useful. I remove the clips off any knife I truly pocket carry, as well. I was very happy when spyderco upgraded to removable carry clips instead of molded into the handle. The delica and native are the largest sizes I pocket carry, anything larger I tend to leave the cli...

Re: You guys can keep your straight spine Stretch

I like it. Looks good. Modding a standard stretch to a more straight spine type profile. Bravo. Probably a little lighter, takes up less space in the pocket, too.

Re: VG10 Damascus ?

It is basically a san mai using damascus as the outer layers over a vg10 core. That is the beauty of it.

Re: Manbug Leaf

Here it is next to the original blade shape. You do get slightly more cutting edge on the original, mostly due to blade shape. Still I like the new leaf blade for ease in opening. See second photo

Re: Manbug Leaf

I like the new leaf manbug. It is easier to open and has a blade/cutting edge shape I like. Very nice.

Re: Manbug Leaf

I just ordered one. The appearance of the ability to more easily open one handed may be a big plus for me. I carry a dragonfly pretty much every day this time of year, and this manbug style may give it some fierce competition.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Blacked out salt 2 pe H1. Really like the se, but figure to give the pe salt 2 a try while H1 is still available. Gotta give Vivi credit, would have never really considered it without all the posts made.

Re: Would you buy a Stretch XL Salt?

I would love to see this knife in magnacut with the same blade shape as now. It would be quite attractive in H1/H2, as well - but not sure how a sheepsfoot blade style would work in the same space/handle/mold - spyderco really maximized blade length and shape to fit this model. Lc200n, not my first ...
