Re: Manix 2 XL St.Nicks Knives Exclusive
I’ve wanted a blade in a tough steel to swap into a ti Millie since forever. :winking-tongue Still off topic - has anyone successfully done this swap? I tried it with both Rex45 and S110V blades into a CQI Fluted TI handle. neither of them felt right. The detent was mushy and sticky in both cases. ...

Re: My thoughts on the Shaman
I haven’t been able to get comfortable with the S90V shaman sprint. I feel like it’s some combination of too smooth and too blade-heavy for it to feel secure in my grip. The factory scales are beautiful, just a little too slick for me. I’ve been thinking about getting a g10 SE version but a scale sw...

Re: "Knife People" more price sensitive?
When I’m looking at knives listed on eBay I’m generally looking for good deals on used items. Any AFI will know the difference between a good deal on a good condition used item and a highball list price on an item that is in much worse condition than the description suggests. I see a lot of sellers ...

Re: Large Folder Recommendations
Give the Resilience a try. I think it ticks all your boxes and it’s not that expensive to test and replace if needed. Plus if you really like it you can stock up and keep a few of them around.

Aftermarket DLC Questions
Hi everyone, I have an interest getting DLC put on a K390 SE blade. I’m wondering if anyone has tried this or if anyone has experiences to share with aftermarket DLC options for their Spydies. I see the the temp for the process is 500 degrees F, so I’m wondering if that would affect the heat treatme...

Re: Resilience Lightweight - First Impressions
. Plastic washers? Are you sure? If so, the S35VN versions most likely have another upgrade than just the steel over the 8CR versions: I am pretty sure that my S35VN Tenacious has phosphor bronze washers. Did not have it apart yet, but watched a disassembly vid.. I have both in G10 and my Resilienc...

Re: Cliff Stamp has passed away
Cliff was one of the voices that I learned to listen to early on in my knife journey. He was always consistent and principled. I understand why he didn’t get along with everyone but that was their loss then, and everyone’s loss now. I never met or interacted with him but I will always value his advi...

Re: M4 Native Chief - Impressions, reviews, etc.
It’s the backspacer. It seems like it was ground down about 1mm more than it should have been. The satin backspacer fits perfectly in the jade scales. Seems like a QC issue to me for sure.

Re: M4 Native Chief - Impressions, reviews, etc.
I didn’t really inspect it closely at first, it just felt “weird” compared the my other Chief, which I’ve carried a lot recently. It’s just a shame that the fit and finish is so much better on the stock. Maybe I’ll try doing a scale swap to figure out where the problem is. I’d kind of had in mind to...

Re: M4 Native Chief - Impressions, reviews, etc.
My M4 Chief arrived today and the blade is as beautiful as I imagined. The rest of the knife could be better. The scales stand about 1mm proud of the backspacer. The fit and finish on my S30V chief is outstanding with the backspacer perfectly flush with the scales. The jade scales are also about .5m...
