Re: The Last Gun You Bought

The module looks great ! I was hoping you would try an aftermarket set and glad to see that straight trigger ! Dan I wanted to give the stock module a fair shake, but couldn't stop the itch to try the WC module. Haha! Definitely a big improvement in ergos, and shooting it should be an even better e...

Re: Do you use your Spyderco or just collect them?

I use. Even sprints and exclusives. Yes, some get more use than others, but I do use them all.

Most of the time I'm too busy using them to take pictures of them being used... Lol

Re: M390 vs S90V

I'd side with s90v, but m390 is great as well. But my s90v chief is one of my favorite knives to carry. Now if I had an s90v/cf shaman to go with it... Mmmm

Re: Spyderco Drunken Discontinued?

I LOVE the drunken. I handled one at st nicks in Florence before they closed that location. Talk about drool worthy. Still would love to snag one but the price always throws me for a loop. Maybe I should just sell my xm-24 to fund one, or do a trade + cash. Although I doubt anyone would bite on a tr...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Update on the M18. Added a Wilson Combat grip module and sig straight trigger! Stock grip wasn't bad, but this one is so much better. Straight trigger is much, much better than the stock curved.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Nice score soc_monki! Are ya gonna do any trigger work or do ya like how she is outta the box? It's not bad out of the box at all. Going to put some more rounds down range, let it loosen up a little, and see how it goes. May do the apex trigger bar at some point, it looked interesting. As it is tho...

I voted Cru-Wear & Micarta, but I’d love to try some Vanadis 4E, seems like an excellent candidate!

I believe there is a St Nicks 4V exclusive in the queue. 4V is pretty much the same as V4E.
Don't tease me... I need to know if this is true! If so, I'm so on it...

I don't care. I want one no matter the steel. Will probably be S30v though, and I'm OK with that.

Re: Who would you contact at Spyderco Corporate

All I'm seeing is word salad.

What exactly are the issues you're dealing with? Because at the moment I assume English isn't your first language, and maybe you're not even in the United States. Maybe ordering direct from Spyderco isn't the best option for you?

Re: Sal is a great guy and I won’t shut up about it

Well, this won’t be popular, but at some point you have to be loyal to your customers as well. If a supplier can’t meet Spyderco’s standards… at some point it’s time to move on, no? I tried two Caly 3.5’s from the current production and they were seriously lacking. Obviously I trust Sal/Spyderco’s ...

Anyone who thinks our planet is the only one to harbor life after seeing the sheer number of galaxies, and the untold billions of stars and planets that are out there, truly has their head in the sand. Have we ever been visited? Maybe? Probably not. The distances are so vast. And if a civilization h...

I, for one, am perfectly fine sending a knife in to get it worked on if necessary. I have plenty to tide me over during that time. The real good thing is I've never had a spyderco fail on me, so I've never had to send one in! Haven't lost any parts either, thankfully!

I have 4. 2 s30v (one being dlc), blade hq dlc m4/jade, and a z wear micarta. They're all great, but I use my standard s30v the most. Why? I don't know, but it's my OG, have had it for 2 years, and it's just awesome. The others are too, but something about the first one... I will have more. I'd love...

Not really sure if any of my sekis have lock rock, never really tested them for it. I know they function fine, so I never really thought about it. They open, cut things, and close. Haven't had one close on my hand, but I don't whack the spine on things or baton with them so... Have my K390 Endura in...

What bolt carrier have you picked out ? Dan Picked up a Brownell's BCG, nitride coating. Possibly made by Midwest Industries? Either way, its a quality looking piece. Checked fit in the rifle and it works fine. I'm going to keep it as a backup for now, since the one in the rifle works fine. I don't...
