Re: Anyone else going to Wannamacher's Tulsa Gun Show this week??
I will be there Sunday afternoon.I have bought a lot of knives in the last 30 years from Soonerstateknives. Will you have some spydercos for sale? For those that have never been this is the best gun and knife show in the Midwest.A friend of mine from South Africa comes to Tulsa every November just fo...

Re: Investments
Warren Buffet said I wouldn't hold a stock for 10 minutes if I wouldn't hold it for 10 years. There is a lot of truth to that. When facebook had its IPO it was at 35 or 38 dollars a share.I bought 200 shares at that time, then over the next few weeks it dropped to 21.So I bought 300 more shares. Then a...

I like stocks and a few mutual funds.I was fortunate to get into Netflix at $20.00 a share back when they sent you dvd's in the mail to watch. Also a few oil stocks like Exxon and Occidental that give a good dividend.I do have a couple of weed stocks that I have made money on but they are very volati...

Re: Some good companies seem to destroy good gun companies for da money
I agree with OldHoosier and Murphjd25. The S&W shield and M&P lines are quality pistols.I also work at a gun store that use to sell Keltecs but we had so many complaints about them and sent so many back to the factory we quit selling them.If my life were in danger and I only had a pistol wit...

Re: Article: The Kind of Man Who Carries a Pocket Knife
I have carried a knife since I was 6 years old.My grandpa gave it to me and I still have it.Actually I usually have 3 knives on me, if someone wants to borrow it I give them an old lockback. If I know they will respect my knives I will let them use a little better knife.

Re: People still like Benchmade?
I recently bought a bugout and a 943 Osborne.Very impressed with both.A gun store I frequent has 15% off a certain brand of knife in the fall and winter.October was 15% off on benchmade.Looking foreward to the 15% off Spyderco month.

Re: People still like Benchmade?
When I was still working sometimes I would need to cut the top of a 55 gallon plastic drum to make the bung opening a little larger. If I didn't want to take the time to get a sawz all I would use my mini griptillian. The axis lock never failed me even after using quite a bit of force.I probably did t...

Re: People still like Benchmade?
I have 10 benchmades and 10 spydercos, there are things I like about both brands.I usually carry a case mini copperlock because it takes up very little room in my pocket and I don't mind abusing it.When I spend more than $100.00 for a knife I tend to be more careful with it.

Re: why are flippers so popular?
I have a Kershaw leek that is really thin and light that I sometime wear with dress pants.I prefer to have an endura or a delica that I can actually do some hard core cutting if I need to.The leek is kind of fun but it is not for really serious use.

Re: Broken pocket clip screw
I recently bought 5- stainless steel endura 2 knives or C10p knives. They have have the small Phillips screw head and out of the 15 screws on the 5 knives I screwed up the head on 9 of them. These knives had been stored for around 20 years so the Loctite had done its job.I sent an e-mail last week and...

Re: Super Good Knife Companies With Hardly No Recognition
Agree with the knives of Alaska.I have had 2 of their knives in the past and sold them to a friend that used them to skin deer and elk. There is a custom knife maker named Mike Miller that lives 2 hours from me that is quite a knife making artist.I own several of his knives. It would be worth your tim...
