Did the cruwear micarta pm2 just start shipping or have they been out for a while?
I just got my micarta cruwear pm2 that I ordered last year. How long have these been shipping for?

Re: Who's grabbing the blacked out para3 cruwear?
Just got the 2 I ordered. Keeping one, giving one to a good friend. I already have a Cruwear blade in a lightweight handle. The blackout is pretty amazing. Cruwear is also probably my favorite knife steel. I've put mine through heck. Not this one, though. This one is too beautiful.

Re: PM3 LW or Lil Matriarch
PM3 LW. I just didn't have a desire for another knife after I had that one. It's just sort of perfect. Easy to have on you with the light weight and wire clip. Best opening and closing functionality in the history of opening and closing knives. Super sharp, really good ergos and grip. Size is awesom...

Thanks! Sounds like avoid salt and moisture and keep it oiled.

I got mine today. I got two--one for a friend. I really like the FRN. Everything top notch. The Ladybug is my favorite model.

Re: K390 ladybug alert thread
Will we see any SE edges in k390? I am curious about toughness in SE. I still have an SE zdp-189 Endura. Hi Tbdoc, We're testing now to see if it will hold a tooth. It is very difficult to serrate requiring dressing the serration wheel every 2 or 3 applications. sal They always find that one thing ...

Re: I am excited - Para 3 LW Serrated
The whole thing feels just right for me. It’s light and nimble and compact and tough. Serrations really work for me here, on a blade this small it’s nice to get a little extra cutting power. I even like the steel, both in use and on the stones. Enjoy! Thanks for the update! Where did you buy yours?

I am excited - Para 3 LW Serrated
I guess if I could design a Spyderco knife, it would be FRN for grip and weight, about the size of my Para 3 Cru-Wear, have a compression lock, be serrated and made in Golden. It would differ from the Para 3 by having a smaller, more offset lanyard hole, and carry all the way in the pocket. So thank...

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?
I got my Stretch today. Really beautiful. For some reason, it just looks really nice when it's closed. I think it's the proportions and the stainless clip. I think a lot of larger G10 knives like the Shaman make me worried about dropping them. The Stretch has a somewhat fine point, but I don't feel...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I was fishing under a bridge. There was some sort of fibrous liner under the rocks under the bridge. My kid got a crankbait stuck on it. It was felt like cloth saturated with water, and gritty sediment. The barbs of the treble hook were all the way in there, and I had to cut this fabric liner to get...

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?
So far, endura A+. Shaman B- because I don't feel I can carry it anywhere socially, and I'm affraid to ruin the value of it. We'll see if I like the stretch. If it's like an endura with a finger choil, it'll be good. Looking forward to your grading of the Stretch HAP 40. Carrying mine today PLUS an...

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?
So far, I have ordered three knives: Shaman M4, a plain old Endura 4 SE, and the Stretch Hap40. The only one that has arrived is the Endura, and I absolutely love it. Never realized. I just thought it would be a big delica. Knife Christmas will continue through the week. Knife Chanukah maybe?

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?
Oddly, this is where I'm leaning now. Really?! :) I am sure you wouldn't regret it... I did it. Found one on eBay. Now the long version. Having given away my favorite two large knives (to me, a pm2 is huge), I started compulsively scraping eBay for things that would maybe help me stop feeling knife...

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?
Maybe too large for your preferences (though smaller than a PM2 when closed while having even a tad more blade), and the burnt orange scales are not for everyone, but still I'd suggest: Stretch 1 in HAP40 steel. Imho probably the best all around EDC folder to be found. Oddly, this is where I'm lean...
