Re: Smock Anticipation

Got shipping notification from UPS :) https://youtu.be/2Fm_oJ1qdl4 James Where did you order yours from James? I have to agree with the masses on the YouTube comments. Yet another horribly placed clip because of a lanyard hole.(thankfully I already have a deep carry waiting to be slapped on this be...

Re: Which Spyderco Haunts You Most?

DLT PM2 in M390. Right when I was getting interested in Spyderco and was debating if I wanted to spend that kind of money on a knife (coming from Kershaws) I was watching a lot of youtube review videos. I came across a video that mentioned DLT trading. If my memory serves me right, though I could be...

Re: Why is having the blade drop closed such a big deal?

It's convenient but not necessarily mandatory. I close my Autonomy against my hip because it's really the only option unless you use both hands. There are times when I need to draw/open/cut/close/clip in a fluid motion, but closing a knife against your hip isn't any slower. That's exactly how I clo...

Re: Why is having the blade drop closed such a big deal?

I think it's mostly an issue for people that just play with their knives. I'm in the middle of what you like and the free drop. I don't mind disengaging a compression lock and giving it a quick snap of the wrist to close it. I find if a knife tends to free drop, then there is a bit of side to side b...

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Native 5 Linerless Natural G10 DLC CPM-M4

By far, the best looking Native I've ever seen. Definitely pocket jewelry! I wouldn't even cut a sheet of paper with that baby! With the M4/DLC blade I don't see why you wouldn't want to use it. I've been thinking about getting the fluted cf S90V Native so I can enjoy the scales and not worry about...

Bladeops said they sold out in 5 minutes. This is a popular one.
Wouldn't they have had a bunch of preorders to fulfill first though? I'd think they would send those out before any regular orders could be placed.

Re: Early days thoughts on the Brouwer

Seems to be another one of those knives where people were pumped for its release. They got it, posted some pics of it in various settings and then it's never been heard of again. I honestly forgot all about this model until you created this thread. Very nice review, it was a good read and nice to ac...

Good choice with the SE Salt. I tend to use my Manix 2 LW, SE Salt 2 and will now be using my newly acquired SE Endura as well. Spyderhawk would also be a great choice!

Tecmo Super Bowl on my Nintendo Classic!

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

I want to want to try a ZT knife, but they all just look like thick, heavy, over built tanks. Pretty much every model I see is just a robust slab of steel and materials. They remind me of my old Kershaw Cryo II...but even chunkier and heavier and like $130+ per knife. So...I guess I really don't wan...

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Native 5 Linerless Natural G10 DLC CPM-M4

The price seems to be a bit high to me. More expensive than the Para 3 released over the summer, and only $30 less than the much larger Military that just dropped.

Re: Smock Anticipation

Does anybody know if he changed the pocket clip design? Will it now take the standard 3 screw clip? I've got an extra DLC deep carry clip that I believe this knife will be dieing for. Hoping it will be a match!

That is a pretty sweet looking finish though.

Re: Sal, DLC M-4 Jade Military satin spacers

Can't people that aren't happy with the satin backspacers just removed them and paint them black themselves? Shouldn't be too difficult, plus they don't see much wear on the knife considering where their positioned. Should be an easy fix that only needs to be done once.
