The blade of this elite knife is meticulously crafted from CPM® 4V® tool steel, an advanced alloy specifically developed for applications requiring extreme toughness and wear resistance. These qualities are further enhanced by Crucible® Industries' particle metallurgy manufacturing process, which ensures a uniform distribution of the steel's alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure. To eliminate the blade's reflective properties and help protect it from corrosion, it also sports a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

True to the signature theme of St. Nick's Exclusives, this knife also features a vibrant red peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. Mirroring the theme of the blade's stealthy DLC coating, the handle's liners, backspacer, reversible tip-up pocket clip, and all other hardware also have durable black coatings.
