The defining feature of this unique knife is its dramatic tanto-style blade. Crafted from CPM® S30V® particle metallurgy stainless steel, it combines a hollow-ground primary bevel, a faceted flat-ground tip, and a long swedge (unsharpened bevel) on the spine to create an exceptional balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility. This stunning blade profile also boasts a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ to allow swift one-handed opening with either hand. To reduce its reflective signature in environments where light discipline is a concern, it also includes a stealthy black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

All the other characteristics of this remarkable knife are consistent with the time-tested Para Military 2 platform, including peel-ply-textured black G-10 scales, nested stainless steel liners, Spyderco's patented Compression Lock® mechanism, and a lightweight, easily cleaned, open-backed construction style. The handle also features a four-position  pocket clip that supports left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry and a generously sized lined lanyard hole for the easy attachment of lanyards or fobs.
