Its PlainEdge™ blade is precision machined from premium VG-10 stainless steel and has a full-flat grind and opposing jimping (textured grooves) on the thumb ramp and index-finger choil for enhanced control during use. The purple fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle has Bi-Directional Texturing™ molded into both sides to ensure a non-slip grip, while a stout back lock mechanism locks the blade securely in the open position when in use.
