This Para 3 Lightweight was specially manufactured for GP Knives (gpknives.com) and is available only through their sales channels. 

The first defining feature of this remarkable knife is its blade, which is crafted from Crucible® CPM® REX® 45—a super-high-speed particle metallurgy tool steel enriched with large volumes of cobalt, tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium. CPM REX45's high cobalt content increases its attainable hardness, while its vanadium carbides provide high wear resistance, fine grain size, and increased toughness. The PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground for superior edge geometry and proudly includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. 

Equally unique, the knife's lightweight handle is injection molded from white fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The handle houses a stainless steel lock bar that forms the heart of the knife's streamlined Compression Lock® mechanism and both sides include Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure, non-slip grip. All other features are consistent with the established Para 3 Lightweight platform, including an easily cleaned, open-backed construction style and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that allows a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry.

A truly remarkable rendition of one of Spyderco's most popular models, this Exclusive Para 3 Lightweight is available in two versions: one with a satin-finished blade and matching handle hardware and one with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated blade and black-coated handle hardware and clip.
