This extraordinary expression of the Para 3 was specially manufactured for Cutlery Shoppe and showcases Carpenter® Technology Corporation's premium CTS® XHP blade steel, as well as the signature high-visibility orange handle color that distinguishes Cutlery Shoppe's elite family of Exclusive knives.

CTS XHP is an air-hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium alloy that can be described as either a high-hardness 440C stainless steel or a corrosion-resistant D2 tool steel. As a blade material it offers superior edge retention and surface finish and can be sharpened to a very fine edge. It is also extremely corrosion resistant and easy to maintain.

The high-performance full-flat-ground blade of this knife proudly includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ to ensure swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is paired with a handle featuring high-visibility textured orange G-10 scales, Spyderco's patented Compression Lock™ mechanism, and a four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. This remarkable expression of the Para 3 is offered with a black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) blade coating and matching blackened clip and hardware.
