This Exclusive expression of it faithfully resurrects Anso's unorthodox design and enhances it with Blade HQ's signature material choices. Its distinctive blade profile is full-flat ground from Crucible® CPM® M4. One of the premier steel choices for high-performance custom blades and knives used in competitive cutting, CPM M4 is a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades. 

The other defining characteristic of this elite knife is its handle's natural-colored G-10 scales. These peel-ply-textured scales provide a non-slip grip and are precision machined to house the nested stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the knife's LinerLock mechanism. To ensure convenient carry, the handle includes a polished pocket clip that provides a choice of right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
