This Exclusive Endura 4 features a three-layer laminate blade that combines a high-performance Super Gold2 steel core with outer layers of SUS410 stainless steel. Manufactured by Kobe Steel, Ltd./KOBELCO and distributed through Takefu Special Steel Company, Super Gold2 is a high-carbon stainless steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Enriched with generous amounts of molybdenum and vanadium, Super Gold2 (also known as SG2 and SGPS) offers an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. To further optimize its performance, this blade's SUS410 outer layers enhance its structural strength and overall toughness.

To both highlight and complement its full-flat-ground SG2 blade, the lock bar of this remarkable knife features a gold-colored titanium nitride (TiN) coating that not only provides a dramatic aesthetic accent, but also reduces friction and increases the part's wear resistance.

All other features of this Exclusive Endura 4 Lightweight are consistent with the best-selling standard version of the knife, including a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a textured, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon handle, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a four-position hourglass pocket clip.

A truly unique expression of an iconic design, this Exclusive knife is sure to be popular with serious knife users and collectors alike.
