One of the defining features of this elite Manix 2 is its blade, which is painstakingly crafted from CPM® 4V® tool steel. This advanced alloy was specifically developed for applications requiring a superior combination of strength, wear resistance, and toughness. These qualities are further enhanced by Crucible® Industries' particle metallurgy manufacturing process, which ensures a uniform distribution of the steel's alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure. 

This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for an optimal balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ provides leverage for swift, one-handed opening with either hand, while a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating eliminates the blade's reflective properties and helps protect it from corrosion.

In keeping with the signature theme of St. Nick's Exclusives, this knife also features vibrant red handle scales. The peel-ply-textured G-10 scales are supported by a framework of full stainless steel liners and a stainless steel backspacer that houses the knife's patented Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism. A reversible pocket clip provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry and generously sized lined lanyard hole allows the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards. To complement the blade's stealthy DLC coating, the clip, liners, and all other handle hardware also have durable black coatings.
