Created by Crucible® Industries, CRU-WEAR's unique alloy composition allows it to excel in applications that require greater wear resistance than D2, more toughness than M2 high speed steel, or both. The CRU-WEAR used in the blade of this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, highly homogeneous grain structure that maximizes the performance potential of the steel. In a knife blade, that translates to amazing toughness and the ability to take and hold an outstanding edge.

The satin-finished blade of this knife is full-flat ground for superior edge geometry and proudly includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is housed in a handle built with full skeletonized stainless steel liners and smooth black G-10 scales. This robust construction supports the knife's high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism and a reversible pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry.
