This limited-edition version of the Spyderco Manix™ 2 Lightweight was produced exclusively for Knife Center to offer one of Spyderco's most popular models in a unique and highly collectible format. Rather than the standard blade steel typically used on this model, our Exclusive version features Carpenter® Technology's CTS® XHP®—a state-of-the-art powder metallurgy steel that combines the time-tested performance characteristics of D2 tool steel with a higher degree of corrosion resistance. The satin-finished PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and features an oversized Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.

The original Manix 2 Lightweight pioneered the use of ultra-lightweight FRCP (fiberglass reinforced co-polymer) in its injection-molded handle—a feature that helped it win the Blade Show's coveted Most Innovative American Design award in 2010. This Knife Center Exclusive version features a distinctive brown-colored FRCP handle with Spyderco’s high-traction Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern for a secure grip in even the most demanding conditions. The handle houses Spyderco's patented Ball Bearing Lock™—a high-strength lock mechanism that offers ambidextrous operation and an exceptionally smooth action. To ensure convenient carry and keep the knife poised for immediate access, it includes a reversible, low-profile wire clip that supports left or right-side tip-up carry.
