I carried a Baby Wayne Goddard for about 20 years during my corporate days. Since then, I (like the Deacon) have had a micarta Jester on my key ring for the longest or my other Spuderco EDCs.

Probably would be the Dodo for me. I don't carry it everyday, but it has been in my EDC since 2005.

As far as consistancy I've carried a Delica everyday for more than a year now. I feel like it is a part of me. I've actually ran back into the house (to my wife's dismay) and changed out my EDC because I tried something else besides the Delica and began to miss it, how sad is that!

Same here, carried a Delica 3/SE pretty constantly. Lately it has been the Delica 4/SE. Has been my almost constant carry for the past 4 weeks(every once in a while swapped for my D2 Para/SE)

Would like to swap that for the Delica with the most positive lock up and the best action in my collection, the Delica 1/SE in Aus8. However I don't trust the clip very much

Even though I have a Delica, Native, Native III and a Pacific Salt, a Byrd Crow gets the most use. I guess mostly because it is the knife I would be least upset about if I lost it.

I carry it in my computer back pack to work and it was the only knife I paced in my bag for vacation, I was afraid of losing the luggage or one of the higher end knives getting stolen.

On the weekends and at home I usually carry the Natives or the Delica.

Every since I first obtained my byrd Crossbill CE in June 2005, it's been my main carry piece. It occasionally gets swapped out with a Tasman, Emerson SOCFK, Yojimbo, Delica, or a Waved Endura. About a month ago that Crossbill was replaced with the G-10, PE version.

I once heard a freind comment about how I have a good choice of knives I can carry (Emerson, Spyderco, Microtec), and I still carry the Crossbill most of the time. I just like the hawkbill shape for doing chores, and the fine tip is great for doing delicate work.

Carried a 440V PE Millie exclusively from about Feb 02 to Jan 06. Since then it has still found its way into the EDC rotation occasionally and has been back in my pocket constantly now for the last 2-3 weeks.

Calypso Jr. PE in black FRN. Though has been mixed with the Gray, RED ZDP, Micarta, and Stainless handled variants. Lately it has been the Caly 3 CF/ZDP. Love the PE Calys!

SS Native plain edge from 99' I think to last year, with a Ti Lum Tanto mixed in.I bought them at the same time.I have to admit the Native is a more useful blade shape.

EDC's

Calypso Jr. Gray 3 years, modified Salt 1 one year, modified Dragonfly FRN SE to date. I like Chad's Lava so well that I am looking at a used one on ebay for an EDC. I have several dozens of collaboration models that I would like to carry but at this point I would rather just appreciate them for what they are and for the hunt involved to get them, and then someday pass them on to others. I have all eight of the Calypso Jr. models NIB but am still looking for the C52P NIB. My SE Dragonfly had one of the sharpest edges you can imagine due to a flat ground blade with serrations. The edges have started to roll. I still love this knife and use it daily with a Salt I backup. Vampirewolf, any news of Alan Treat?

Pacific Salt: 2 years straight + 2-3 months rotated.

It was my Spyderco and I will say I think I got more than my money's worth out or it.

Cardboad belongs to my on-belt box cutter. S30V is a great cardboard cutter in a pinch but will require frequent sharpening. It is more efficiant to change out the blade on a box cutter.

My carry knives vary with time but my current carry is the Lightweight Jess Horn and Wally World Native.

Tomarrow may be different.
This is just my two cents but the perfect combo is a polished blade paired with an appropriatly sharpened rough use knife.

My choice of carry knives reflect this.

I have an Adventura I've been using for a couple yars now. But the longest, most carried and abused is definitely a VG-10 Delica III SE I got somewhere around 2002, IIRC; I do have to confess that the poor knife nowadays vaguely resembles the original, as it has been heavily modded (full flat grind, wireclip, jimping, modified lock, modified handles - still functional though). It has been dropped, thrown, used for cutting wood, rope, paper, wire, plastic and who knows what else, not to mention food preparation. It is still in decent condition (leaving aside the aesthetical issues), anyway it performs better than some NIB knives of the competition I know of

My Tasman..only been 3 or 4 years...can't remember exactly. However, it hasn't missed one day in pocket since it arrived in the mail.
