    Only sold thru SFO.

Wait for the next one to be announced, and grab one asap, as the last few have sold rather quickly.

    Otherwise, normal secondary market channels.

    Hi Mjc,

    Welcome to our forum.

The "Mule Team" project is more of an experiment to; learn about steels, provide steel junky's with real testable "apples to apples" blades, do so at an affordable price, so they're sold with no scales or sheaths, consumer direct through our outlet store. They're really nothing that dealers or distributers would want to mess with and going through the distribution chain would raise the price. We've been making about 600 pcs each quarter, sometimes as much as 1000 (not too many really interested in blade steel out there). Recent runs have sold out quickly so we're planning to increase the number made, but these steels are ordered a year out and the increase will take a while to be felt. I guess it's more of a steel junky club, but we do test some intersting steels and we've done or will do production runs with some of them. We have already ordered some interesting steels for the next few runs.

    Thank you both.

Mr. Glesser I am starting to become a steel junkie but am also an aspiring woodturner/woodworker. The Mule knives would fill both interests as I would like to attempt making scales for them.

    P. S. Thank you for your company, I am somewhat new to Spyderco products and love my PM2 and new sharpmaker (never thought I could get my knives so sharp so easily) and my father loves his Dragonfly 2.(Xmas gift)

Apart from MBS-26 and CPM 4V, are there any other steels on the radar?

I'm annoyed with myself for missing out on the s110v MT18

I find myself not caring what steel I get a Mule in. Just as long as I get one. Things have been very elusive for me.

Off topic, but as far as getting blades to make scales for, I'd try Jantz Supply. I get all of my knife making stuff there. They have quick delivery, and excellent customer service. Prices are fair as well.
