Show your main knife storage :)

This is my main knife storage chest.
About 70% of my knives are in here,
the other 30% lingers around in my house, pocket,
    display cases, drawers, etc.

I believe my case is the SE-920 and it has plenty of room for even the Military and Police models standing up like soldiers. I believe I paid $70 shipped for mine.

It really makes it easy to see them all at once and make a quick out the door choice as well as being portable. The wife always gives me a strange look when I try to sneak it into the car while packing for vacations. I don't understand why.....

I picked up a five drawer craftsman tool chest and lined the drawers with some of that non-slip cabinet liner to protect the scales.
Works pretty good, and I have plenty of room to grow my collection (and it locks if needed). I had built a series of mini-shelves in my closet similar to what you see for hot wheels or shot glasses but soon outgrew this method. Now I have a bunch of empty tiny shelves in my closet, a huge tool chest on my dresser and no place to put clothes...but who cares, my knives are safe. Maybe I can find another collection to stash in my mini-shelf system. Flashlights maybe...

I will post pictures of both my empty mini-shelves and current tool chest.

I just got a large SpyderPac which holds 40 knives. The quality is very impressive and I should have done it long ago.

I had the same problem, outgrew my storage multiple times... We all know the problem xD
There just isn't something as "too many knives".

    Looking forward to the pictures

I've been looking at Spyderpacs for quite some time now... They seem great. Good quality, nice looks, lots of storage and compact.
Might be time to purchase one soon...

3 curio cabinets, 2 large and 2 small. These photos were taken back when I was living in NY, but the cabinets all survived the trip south, and I'm still using them.

I keep mine in a shoebox. My collection grows, so I am fast approaching the need for an actual storage option.

Of course now I have to post my sorry pictures after the Deacon.
Paul, those are beautiful displays and an enviable collection to say the least!

I did take pictures of my chest, the drawers are as follows:
Drawer # 1: Golden to the left, Taichung on the right.
    Military Satin/Camo
    Para 2 Satin/Camo
    Para 2 S35VN
    Native CTS XHP

    Yo2 with cuscadi golden amboina
K390 Mule, halpern scales (Edit, I took this out for photo, oops)
    Swick, waiting for scales

    Valotton
    Sage 1
    Customized Southard
    D.1 (2).jpg

Drawer #2: Japanese to the left, Chinese to the right
    Endura
    Delica
    Modified Atlantic Salt
    Dfly 2

    Calypso sprint
    Caly 3.5

    Tenacious full serrated
    Tenacious PE
    Persistence
    Grasshopper
    D.2.jpg

    Drawer 3: Cold Steel/Kershaw/Misc.

Ill only mention the two favorite non-spydies the customized by Maprik on BF ZT0561 and the Lionsteel SR1-A (which is beautiful, but the lame pocket clip makes it a safe queen) Oh yea, that CS Spartan is the blade I carry any time I feel like I could be in a scary situation.

Drawer # 4 (#5 is just boxes for now): Fixed/Misc.

I really need a new storage plan. I have a couple Spyderpacs, but it's just not enough. I've started clipping knives to the outsides of pouches that have other knives inside them! My desk drawers are full of knives, they're stashed behind the DVR, all over my desk, covering the top of my printer, up in the linen closet, etc.

A couple of those Seahorse cases would really help.

I too need a better storage system. My problem is that I like to keep the boxes, and the knives in the boxes. So sure I can just get tubs and dump them in. But I want something like a Pelican case that is fully foam lined...but not filled with foam. So that I can stick them all in, labels up...so I can see and get into them easily.

Same problem here, even keep the plastic they come with in the boxes... Just like everything original with most production folders.
