Big thumbs down on a poor job. Does eBay still pull fakes/counterfeits?

Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for clunkers"
    program?

A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

Yes, but only if the owner of the IP involved is a member of their VERO program, which Spyderco is, and the IP owner is the party claiming the item violates their trademark, patent, or copyright. Years ago they'd accept complaints from anyone, but they had too many cases where sellers were reporting competitors listings as fake when they were not.

That has to be the most realistic and perfect fake I have ever seen. Looks pretty much IDENTICAL!

Hmm, did you forget to add a or smilie, or didn't you notice the total lack of a cutout for a compression lock?

And the texture of the CF is wrong...and the lettering is the wrong font and in the wrong places...and on and on.

looks like I've been had. I new an $80 buy it now price was too good to be true, and then the seller posted 2 more the following day, really got me feeling nervous. Then to read this post just confirms my worst fears. Thanks for the heads up guys of what I really have coming to me and the joys of working through stuff with ebay.

Gotta be careful. I responded to a Craigslist ad for a PM2. The guy had one of the new china clones and it was nearly identical to the real one. They fixed the tells that used to make it identifiable.
The only noticeable difference was that the pivot screw was a T8 rather than a T10 on the real one.
Forever searching for the best pocket knife and rare Spyderco's!
