    In 1992 Spyderco started stamping the Executive. I assume all knives before then would have on been stamped, but that was way before my Spyderco time.

    They didn't start using steel markings until about 1992. There was a decade worth of production before that.
    I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

    Steel on that should be Gin-1/G-2. As others noted, they didn't mark the Executive until 1992.
