    What does PE stand for? Plain Edge?

    In some of these threads people refer to PE knives. Does thi mean Plain Edge or something else?

    SE stands for serrated edge of spyder edge....you will also see that one.

    And on a box I think they say Pln rather than PE

    And CE referes to Combo Edge (Half serrated, half plain edged).

    There may be exceptions on some of the Spydercos from the early 80's, but Spyderco generally only puts P for plain, S for serrated, and PS for part serrated (combo) on their boxes. Forum "shorthand" for the them is normally PE, SE, and CE, respectively.
