I've just read about this company, does anyone here have an opinon on them? They're using interesting steels.

Im not sure how I got on their email list, but Ive been getting updates about their products for a little while. Wouldnt mind trying them out especially with the materials they use... But god knows I don't get out in the woods enough to need another fixed blade.

I was in on the very first production and have a prototype. Guy is a nice guy and makes a good product. He seems to have a passion for knives which is always a plus in my opinion when making something.

There have been some changes since the one I got but essentially they are good steels heat treated at a professional heat treat facility and the grips are very comfortable. The costs are fair too. No hype or egos involved, which is also a plus IMO.

Survive makes some very nice fixed blades.
I have a GSO 7/7 that I got recently in 3V and it is the sharpest blade I ever recieved from the factory besides my Super Blue Endura.
The feel and balance of the knife is great especially for such a large knife.
I am really looking forward to the 3.5 which should be out in January.

Thanks for the responses. I'm gonna keep an eye on them and see how their preorder system works.

That GSO 7/7 caught my eye too.

The 7/7 is an awesome blade if you can manage to pick one up I doubt you will be disappointed.
