Dyad Sprint Run - Lock type?

I was just looking at the Spyderco November Byte and while reading up on the Dyad, noted the mention of a Linerlock but the pic seems to be of a back lock. Either way I want it

IIRC, Spyderco has a specific name for it, but it's basically a variant of the mid lock/back lock.

We called it a "by-pass" lock. Basically a mid lock-back but the lock bar is shaped so in bypasses the lock closest to the blade and actuates from a farther position.

That depends on which Wings you're talking about. The original was a double linerlock, then came the Slipit.

I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

The Dyad is Great knife, it is one I almost have on me all the time. My favorite

The Byrd Wings has two versions:

Byrd Wings Slipit - Has G-10 handles and Stainless steel bolsters

Byrd Wings G-10 - Full G-10 handles. This is a liner lock and is larger in size

    Length Closed: 4.75 vs. 3.75
    Blade Length: 3.375 vs 2.75
    Weight: 5.4 vs 3.4 oz

I do not have the SLIPIT, but have the full G-10 with the liner lock. The is a good knife, with Great Value.
