    Large G-10 Kiwi a reality?

    Howdy, all!

Just wondering if there is any news regarding the larger G-10 Kiwi that was presented as a concept model, I am really hoping this one makes it to production.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Sal!

I'm always excited to see another wharncliffe offering from you guys.
Will it will have the original Kiwi blade spine, or the style that Wouter shared from the Amsterdam meet?

I'm really excited for this one. I missed out on the original Kiwi, couldn't live with the steel or slip joint of the Kiwi 3, and with this one being bigger and having a lock, clip, and G10, and it's flat ground this time around, it's going to make one crazy good utility EDC.

    Thumbs up Amazing News!

    Thanx Much Sal!

This is the most awesome info about the new Kiwi.

I guess this is my most anticipated new Spydie after the Techno

VG-10 is truly a good choice, and the classic Mid-Back Lock and japanese manufacture makes it an amazing tribute to the original design. Moki made perhaps?

Now I'm sooo looking forward this new sample

I'm planning on picking up 2. Hopefully production goes smoothly and we can have some in hand by the end of 2014.

    This thread needs a pic..

Credit to Wouter (Mr. Blonde) for the pic!

I know that's a prototype, but if it comes out that way, I think the first thing I'll mod is completely contouring the edges of the G10 around all the way flush with the liners...no bevel at all. In fact, I bet this one would look good with just contoured/polished G10.

Probably just because it's a proto, but all the Japanese G10-handled knives come with poor beveling anyway (in my experience), so it might be a good idea either way.
