    Hi Ardy,

    Welcome to our forum.

The interest has always been there. Don't want to speak for Ed, but IMO, the interst has also always been there for him.

Hahaha...hey Ardy, now I'm embarrassed. I didn't notice until reading Sals post welcoming you to the forum hat this was your third post here. Ahem, so if you hadn't noticed there are more than a few smartasses that hang out here. I am one of them. My name is Lance. Pleased to meet you and hope to see you keep participating. You will gain and share lots of knowledge here. You will make some good friends and occasionally get a good laugh.

    Welcome,

Ah so grasshopper, even as the sun rises each day you must first learn the art of kung fuey before you may walk in the steps of Master Sal. He has created dragonfly dreams, and ladybug love. He has taken simple powder and formed it into hardened and sharpened steel. He has made the blade a holey wonder. Grasshopper, when you learn to walk, think, act, create, and be one with the Spyder you will have achieved the understanding Sal has acquired in martial arts.

Personally I see Sal as more of a Jedi than a Ninja.

Thought the same thing! From the pic too, he looks more like Obi-Wan in those brown robes!

Don't let those brown robes fool you.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja#Disguises
The use of disguises is common and well documented. Disguises came in the form of priests, entertainers, fortune tellers, merchants, rōnin, and monks.[69] The Buke Myōmokushō states,

Shinobi-monomi were people used in secret ways, and their duties were to go into the mountains and disguise themselves as firewood gatherers to discover and acquire the news about an enemy's territory... they were particularly expert at travelling in disguise.[27]

Just look at the relationship with martial arts movies and Spyderco knives:

When Sal sharpens a blade the stones sing "eye of the tiger" with every stroke.
I hear it rains in golden every time because the blade gets so sharp it slices humidity right out of the air.

    Sal Glesser doesn't go hunting.
Hunting implies the possibility of failure.
