    Nice, Paul! Is the Mini Mariner smaller than the Mini Police? It looks like the MM might be a little shorter. MP is pretty darn small, though. And SHARP!

    Now that we are seeing some truly diminutive knives perhaps we should include some measurements, like cutting edge, blade length, and OAL.

    Yup, and the lockup is even very solid and functional on the Mini Police. I'm not going to go out batoning tree branches to test the strength, but it works!

    Here are the most accurate measurements I could do since the only ruler I have handy is a 15' tape measure:

    Closed: 1 3/4"
    Blade Length: 1 1/4"
    Edge = 1 1/16"
    OAL = 3"
    Weight = 9g!

    Lol, never thought I would feel inadequate because my knives aren't small enough...

    The best I could do is a SAK Cadet. I also have a couple of Classics somewhere around here, but they are my kid's.

    I have a Leatherman Style on my keychain that is even smaller than my Manbug. I will post some photos when I can.

    To be fair, while the Mini Police really has a lock, the Mini Mariner is just a slip joint made to look like a midlock by exposing part of the back spring. Found that out after I got my first one and tried to release the lock to close it. It wouldn't budge, and I spent the next several days bummed out thinking it had frozen in the open position before simply trying to fold the blade.

    Here's another small locking Spyderco, the SpyderKey (also known as the Hummingbird). It's a bit bigger than the Mini Police, but still quite small...

    Specs for it are:
    Overall length: 3 9/16"
    Closed length: 2 1/16"
    Blade length: 1 1/2"
    Edge length: 1 3/8"

    as for the Mini Mariner, its specs are:

    Overall length: 2 5/16"
    Closed length: 1 5/16"
    Blade length: 1"
    Edge length: 7/8"

    I'm not timlara, but no, that Mini Police Necklace isn't a "one off". It was introduced in 1999 and was a limited production item, but was available for several years. What makes it even more interesting is that the blade is ATS-34 and the handle is titanium which, just as with the full size titanium Police, is why the pins are visible.
