    GSO's list continued.

Total = 364 at this time.

Couldn’t do this list without Spydiewiki.
The guys have done a great job there.

I found it on Spydiewiki listed as, C36G (Forum 2000)- Military Forum 2000 MOP Bug inlay.

The C36G is a general term, but "Forum 2000" was listed as part of the SKU.

So if that is part of the SKU, it should be ok; but if not?

    Well that's what Spydiewiki said.

    It is C36GP

I will work on a new match if the police isn't matched.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Ok! I put up the C36GPE military on the list and on the box it does say GPE.

So if it is C38GP on your box; I think that would make it a different SKU.

    Boss! where is you?

    More controversy

You want more controversy ... and you can have it: C38GP means to be a Jess Horn plain edge and G-10 ==> that's an unknown Spydie

P od PE ins Spyderos language code means the same IMO - plain edge.

BTW my thanks to rycen for showing us his Forums Military, it's always a great pleasure for me to see such a specimen. I never had the luck to see one in real life and was on the hunt for many years.

Yes it was late at night and the C38GPE should have been C36GPE.

I use Spydiewiki as a reference; especially when photo is posted with out a SKU with it. ( rycen, can you put a SKU with your photos please)

So with out trying to start another controversy.

Spydiewiki showed the SKU for the Military as C36G (forum 2000). So with out being able to see the box, I took the (forum 200) as being part of the SKU.

I know that P and PE both mean plain edge, but when the SKU on one box it is xxxGPE and the other box is xxxGP. Are they considered to be the same SKU or separate SKUs?

Anyway, the knife looked so nice that I thought it would be a shame to leave it off the list and maybe lose the photo.

But it will be removed from the list.

Spydiewiki is a good first step and probably best reference we have, but not the bible! I can say this, because I am one of the authors and know the difference very well. There is still a lot of work to do at Spydiewiki.

    Can't say it better!

We need another category, for knives we can not show, due to anomalies in Spyderco's SKU-codes.

Totally agree. There are some nice knives that otherwise won't make the thread It would be a shame not to have the Mili, Salsa and Aventura Forum Knives in the list. Maybe a category Forumknives? Anyone got another idea?

As far as I know, there wasn't a Salsa forum knife. But there are plenty of Salsa variants that haven't been posted yet in this thread

Exactly. Spydiewiki is a great resource, but not the end authority on all things Spyderco. Having contributed a few articles over there myself, I can say that it takes a ton of research through the various forums, eBay listings/pictures, The Spyderco Story, and other online resources to find the information. And even then it can be difficult to verify what one person may say as being accurate. But I try my best to do my due diligence when authoring a page and attempt to update any errors when I come across them, but it sure is a lot of work!

Now, if I could just convince Spyderco to send me one of every knife and variant so that I could make sure everything was accurate and had pictures...

Mate, what a brilliant idea you have with that; and shame on me, it was not mine. Maybe Spyderco needs redundance ... call Spyderco and tell them they also can send an equivalent package to my address and both of us will update Spydiewiki

GSO, You as threadstarter should hear I am thankful you started this thread. This is by far the best thread opened in the last years! Hope you don't have the feeling you opended Pandoras box

Man, it feels good to check the own knives from time to time.

I found a long missed piece of paper, hidden under the piece of foam material inside the box ... in my eyes it makes my Ramco Laguiole unique
