You should check The Deacon's web site, his collection of Kopa's and Kiwi's is awesome, and he has some David Yellowhorse modified one's in there.

This is one of the original David Yellowhorse Hunters that were made by him and sold through Spyderco back in the early 90's:

Here's a scan from an old Cutlery Shoppe catalog that shows the models that were available back then, including a Spyderkey that was an exclusive for them. Kind of small, but interesting...

Thank you for the photo's Deacon. It's hard to believe those ever could have been that reasonable considering the time and level of craftsmanship involved.

Drop dead gorgeous. I never knew David Yellowhorse was associated with Spyderco. Problem is, I'd never want to actually use these knives. They'd become my first ever cabinet queens. Nice pics, Deacon!

Those look great. I've never had a Spyderco done by him.

He did our club knives for many years. Case mini Trappers, and I've sold them all but two.

I've never seen that Spyderkey before. It's not on any of the lists as far as I know. Awesome scan!

That Endura is amazing, FCM415. I can understand your lust for it.
