It’s has been a long hot Australian summer and it has been hard me and the Dragonfly.

Some days clothing drenched in sweat, my everyday EDC copped the lot. Dirt, dust and all of the crud that ended up in the pocket with it. Including loose change.

It started to show signs of rust and patina. So I thought that I would I help it along.
( With the patina that is; not the rust.)

Inspecting a Spyderco blade seems to dangerous work; I’m sure I saw one of those ants limping, when they moved away.
How much can a Koala bear?

Nicely worn blade, Rej'. I'd like to see it go up against some of your Aussie bulldog or red bull ants, which attack bees, earthworms, etc, single-handedly

Edit: On second thought, maybe those are bulldog ants.

It was very forced. I hit it with sandpaper when I was done so I think I'll leave it as is. Thanks for looking!

15 minutes spent chopping up an onion...this stuff really takes an awesome patina with ease. I can't wait to see how it performs being my first knife in SuperBlue. The swirl in the middle of the blade is from the middle of the onion...I stuck it in for 10 minutes, and then chopped the onion up, and I expect that will come off the cladding easily.

Been using the K390 mule every night pretty much

Looks great, and I like it a lot more than S110V I'd love to see a Military or Manix in this steel!
