I was always amused when people complained a knife looks too pretty in a picture, so I made this image before cleaning up the knives.

I like how you left the holes exposed on the butt of the handle.

I have to admit, that wasn't part of the original design plans when I started the scales, but it sure turned out nice. That Elmax Mule with the easy to clean up G10 scales is a work horse too. You can hardly tell what it's been through. And thanks all for the warm welcome.

I really feel that this is what sprint knives are born for. I've just finished doing the bevel at 20 inclusive. It isn't quite as polished as it looks, it still has plenty of scratches in it. At this low of an angle, it is ridiculously sharp but will need some micro bevel to prevent chipping.

Forgive my ignorance , but , which knife is that above ? looks great !!!

IMO nothing shows character of a working knife as attractively as well worn titanium handles and patina on a blade.

Nice thread, but just wanted to ask, what's up with those orange scales everywhere, what is their purpose? Isn't that stupid, to buy an orange knife? Your handle will contrast so high with your jeans, every cop or an enemy would see you got a blade from miles away. I understand this for a fixed blade, if your working in the woods and you really need some contrast there, but in the city, no WAI.

most people neither have enemies nor fear a cop seeing their knife. why would we unless we are carrying illegally? a brightly colored knife is easy to see if set down on the job, on a table, grass, etc...

I love orange handles, even more on folders. I donīt need to hide my knives, not from a legal point of view nor for surprising someone in SD situations. I found people react great when they see some other handle color than black.

As for user sprints: I will post some later, guess which handle color!

I always heard that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, but then you catch even more flies with poop
