    VG-10 is a wonderful example of refinement. A steel originally designed for blades used for pruning fruit trees

    Agreed with Dialex, VG-10 is a very well balanced compromise of properties, capable of taking and holding an extremely sharp edge Ease of sharpening and corrosion resistant properties are terrific

    To the OP, after you try VG-10 let us know what you think

    I will most certainly update you on my thoughts and feelings on VG-10. My SuperLeaf has been ordered and it should be arriving at my door next week. 4mm thick VG-10 blade with Compression Lock = I'm very excited
