Knife carrying in the O.C.? (not the crappy drama)

My wife may be taking a job in Aliso Viejo, CA. This could be an eventual move from NW Washington for us both depending on how she likes it and my ability to remain effective (self-employed) at my job from another state.

Based completely on speculation, paranoia, and delusional fantasy the question of my Spydie collection came into mind. I checked the link below in my sig and there isn’t a specified pocket knife length in California with the exception of schools. I have no desire for furthering my education and probably won’t become a Big Brother so the 2.5” restriction shouldn’t be a problem. I don’t carry into federal buildings either, don't want a switchblade (or A.O.), and could get by without carrying a fixed blade. Orange County specifies no knives during pageants (guh ) and Aliso isn’t mentioned.

Am I correct in that a normal length folder (sub 4”) if clipped to your pocket wouldn’t give the average person any problems? If so the state/sun income tax is even less of an issue . It’s Mili time!

Ay Blake, I think sub-2 1/2" means just that, not sub 4" and Mr LEO won't freak out.....On a good note: There is the "California Legal" you can own a 2+a little " Switchblade. I have one from Pro-Tech called the "Jazzy" in ATS-34 bought years ago. Strong knife and would not feeled underarmed carrying one....Doc:
