Yes, I'd like to see a Para 2 in CPM-M4 and dark red/burgundy G10.

Love M4. Para2 seems like it would sell well.

Me too. I gotta say, I'm pretty amazed by the wear resistance. I've polished a few blades, you know, just because.... Got the idea to try it on my M4 M2.... Seriously? Wet/dry sand paper wouldn't touch it. Dremmel with polishing compound? No way....
I completely agree. It would be a great fit.

I have to admit I really like the idea of a CPM M4 para 2. I'd be in on that one. It would really perform and I'd use it daily. The P2 is a great vehicle for pretty much any steel but it really comes alive with the high performing ones.

I'm a big fan of the UKPK and I would love to see a sprint. I'm sure that the people in the UK and other limited by knife law countries would like to see something in a super steel too.
I'd buy a PM2 with M4...because of the M4. But I would prefer to see M4 on pretty much ANY other Spyderco...not a PM2 fan.

The Drop Point is the one that I prefer too. M4 Drop Point UKPK
Terzuola Slipit in M4....that would make me mega happy.
PPT in M4 would be cool.
The N5...I'd be ok with that, I'm just annoyed by the lack of cutting edge. Now a Chief in M4 would be really cool (didn't Sal say that Eric was working on the Chief again?)

I would die for a Manix2 Lightweight with CPM-M4. The street price would give give/take $100 with a 3mm thick FFG blade. Throw in another $25-30 for a regrind and that would be my dream "EDC" (yes, I'd carry it every frickin day).

In folders the only issue I have with M4 is there are steels both Stainless and Non stainless that will perform the same, better to one heck of a lot better.
"Perform" needs definition, here. eg "holds an edge longer" "easier to sharpen" etc
For me, for whatever reason, I get the best edges I ever have out of CPM M4. That is rapidly becoming my criteria for "best" steel. If I have to think about corrosion (even a little bit) or have to sharpen it more frequently, that's okay if the end result is the kind of edge I get with M4. Now I'll freely admit, this may well be a statement of my sharpening skills or equipment, rather than a statement of steel properties. It could even be dumb luck or coincidence, but at this point it's where I am.

I also prefer stainless in a folder. Ankerson, which were you thinking?
I'm with you Ken. I like the edge that it has, I like that it is easy to sharpen, and I have zero issue with a steel gaining patina as it is used...I don't need my blades to stay all nice and shiny and pretty.
The edge retention seems remarkably good when matched to it's ability to get knocked around a bit and not chip out (even when I do something stupid and it falls out of my lap onto the floor blade first, bouncing off the steel relief valve of a radiator first.)
Maybe I have jut not been exposed to enough other steels, but I haven't tried one yet that satisfies me across the board the way M4 does.

Well that is 3 votes for a M4 G10 UKPK...Think that Sal will push it through on just us? Ha Ha.
I prefer darker scales. I find that light ones just get dirty and grubby looking too fast. That is why I thought a nice deep dark brown. But I can always make those myself. As long as it isn't some crazy bright colour, I can live with anything.![]()

Ah, forgot the lightweight was pinned. That's unfortunate....
